Multi-touch is not really compatible with the current Windows Mobile.

The reason is that the legacy applications are not designed to use it. Some apps, even Microsoft's own Excel, are impossible to use on a capacitive multi-touch screen, such as the HTC HD2.

This will change when Microsoft's new mobile platform is released soon. Probably to be called Windows Phone 7. It requires new applications to be written, so then all apps must be made for multi-touch.

But at the moment, those people who require legacy Windows Mobile apps (especially business users) should stay with the traditional resistive screen designed for use with a stylus pen.

If finger touch is desired, choose a different platform such as Android, iPhone, Palm or BlackBerry.
